About My Training:

I was first drawn to the magic of Reiki in 2003. I had heard a little about it and was curious to find out more and whether I could benefit from it. I learned that Reiki is an ancient tradition originating in Tibet that uses the hands of a healer to channel energy to another person in order to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

I received my first Reiki initiation by Reiki Master Mary K Hayden in February, 2003. Mary was an excellent teacher and made everyone feel very welcome and at ease. Over the next two years I practised Reiki mostly on myself. I found that it had a very relaxing effect on my body and mind and I always felt uplifted after it.

In October, 2005, I felt ready for my second initiation into Reiki with Mary. Again, it was another very positive experience and I went away feeling revived and confident in my practise of Reiki. Over the next few years, I continued to practise Reiki on myself, family and friends.

In 2011, I was finally ready to become a Reiki Master. Mary had since retired from spiritual training and so I decided to go ahead with Reiki Master Marie Angeline Lascaux. The training and support I received was nothing short of fantastic. In 2012, I trained in IET with Sinead Sugrue at Martinstown Holistic Centre in the Curragh, Co. Kildare. IET stands for Integrated Energy Therapy, which is similar to reiki but works on releasing more specific emotional blockages. Both of these gentle therapies have helped me enormously. I am very happy to be able to share this wonderful energy with you. Sessions are available in my home in Listowel, Co. Kerry. Click here for contact details.
