A finalist in Irish Music Month (2024) with Limerick Live 95 FM, her career highlights include the release of her debut album Seeds (2011), featuring the track “Sunny Days” which aired on RTÉ Radio 1 and featured in the UK soap Hollyoaks. She has performed at actor Dominic West’s wedding and shared stages with acclaimed artists such as Mick Flannery and John Sheahan of The Dubliners. Her new album Rolling on the Inside (January 2026) was launched in Mike the Pies, Listowel, Co Kerry and promises to further solidify her reputation as one of Ireland’s most compelling popular folk voices.

The new album comprises eleven beautifully woven songs peppered with “fully charged pop-folk sensibility”, urging “producers and playlisters to take note”.
Tony Lea Clayton -The Irish Times
“Tumbleweed is a deeply moving song inspired by the story of Philomena Lee and her son Anthony, whose story was brought to life in the Oscar nominated film Philomena. O’Sullivan continues to establish herself as a folk artist unafraid to confront history while keeping storytelling at the heart of her work”.

“Limerick’s very own singer songwriter Noelle O’Sullivan’s latest album “Rolling On The Inside” will introduce her to numerous new fans, including myself. My own Irish roots attracted me to Noelle at first having known almost nothing about her. However, after the opening track of this new album, it is fair to say that I was hooked.
Described as an alternative folk artist, my immediate thought was that there were comparisons to be drawn with Katie Melua both in terms of the vocals and the music. There is a gentle and subtle feel to Noelle’s music which is both calming and endearing.
The opening track “Bog Cotton” is a poignant tribute to her late father, Roger O’Sullivan from Glin, Co. Limerick, a renowned singer and fiddle player. It was written and performed by Noelle after he sadly passed away in April 2025. Produced by Brian Casey at Wavefield Recording Studio, Cork, the single highlights the sincerity and depth of emotion that she feels for her father, and her ability to turn this into a song is very admirable and enviable.
This new album comprises eleven tracks and features Brian Casey on electric guitars, bass and keyboards, Anthony Noonan on drums and percussion and Lily Munday on fiddle. It was released on the 16th of January 2026 and promises to further increase her reputation as one of Ireland’s most thoughtful and inspirational singer songwriters and performer.
I do not think it is either advisable or possible to pigeon hole Noelle into a specific genre of music, as her music is so diverse. From the upbeat title track “Rolling On The Inside” to the closing “End Of The Earth” there is something here for almost every fan of imaginative music with brilliant lyrics and superb arrangements. The vocals are always crystal clear and the overall production is that of an album that deserves recognition and multiple plays.”
